Fall Term, Spring Term and Summer Semester
Send course grades to the registrar through our Grade Submission System. Grade due dates are listed in the current Course Schedule.
Winter Term and May Term Grade Reporting
These terms also include courses that begin prior to the end of the Fall or Spring Term but end during the respective Winter or May Term. Faculty may submit grades for these terms using our Online Grade Change system.
As would be the case with a standard online grade change, faculty would complete the following steps:
- Select the "Change a grade to another grade" option
- Leave the first field blank and enter the assigned grade in the second field, ex. (__ to A-).
For questions regarding access to the Grade Submission System or Online Grade Change System, please email the Student Records Team at studentacademicrecords@austin.utexas.edu.
What's a grade sheet?
A grade sheet contains the names of all students officially registered for a course on the generated date. Once generated, grade sheet information won't change, though a student's grading or registration status may.
Grade sheets are available after the last class day of a semester or summer term. Recorded grades may be verified online through the last day of grade reporting. Grades submitted online are available for review by instructors of record and their designees.
Submitted grade sheets become permanent University documents.
Grade sheet due dates. The due date appears at the top of the sheet. Grade sheets become unavailable after the grade reporting period designated in the Course Schedule.
Student access to grades. Students may see their grades online the day after grades have been sent to the registrar after the last class day of a semester or summer term.
