Determine your application category (Freshman or Transfer)
Freshman - "Freshman" applications are for students who have not enrolled at another college or university after graduating from high school or earning a GED. Even if you have earned college credit during high school and may be classified as a Sophomore or Junior, you are considered a First Time in College student and must submit a Freshman application.
Transfer - To qualify as a transfer student, you must have been enrolled at a college, university, or online institution since graduating from high school. Transfer applicants must have or will have earned 24 semester hours of required transferable coursework.
If you are applying from another college or university in Texas, please use the Automated Transfer Equivalency System to check if your credits will transfer.
More information about the evaluation of the Joint Services Transcript (JST) and the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) transcript is available on the Office of Admissions' Military Training and Experience webpage. CLEP, and dual credit(s) from high school courses do not count as college credit for transfer purposes.
If you do not have or will not have earned 24 semester hours, you are ineligible to apply as either a Freshman or Transfer applicant.
