What's new
Undergraduate Add/Drop Registration Timeframe Change. Effective Spring 2026 and beyond, the deadline for students to add classes online without approval has been moved from the 4th to the 6th class day. Students will still use the online system to drop courses until the 12th class day.

The University's Commitment on Title IX
The University of Texas at Austin (“University”) is committed to maintaining a learning and working environment for its students, faculty, and staff that is free from discrimination based on sex, in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), and The Campus Sexual Violence Elimination Act (Campus SaVE Act).
Sexual assault, interpersonal violence, stalking, sexual harassment, sex discrimination, sexual exploitation, unprofessional or inappropriate conduct of a sexual nature, retaliation, and discrimination based on pregnancy and parenting status will not be tolerated and are subject to disciplinary action.
The University encourages students and requires employees to promptly report conduct they believe violates these laws or HOP 3-3031: Prohibition of Sexual Assault, Interpersonal Violence, Stalking, Sexual Harassment, and Sex Discrimination (HOP 3-3031) to the Title IX Coordinator, Deputy Title IX Coordinator, or Title IX Deputies listed below. SUPPORT AND RESOURCES:
The University believes it is critical to provide support and resources to anyone involved in a matter reported to the Title IX Office. Case Managers for Support and Resources in the Title IX Office provide reasonably available, individualized accommodations, at no cost, to individuals impacted by a Title IX-related incident. These accommodations may include academic accommodations, housing reassignments, safety planning, or referrals for counseling. These resources and accommodations may also be provided by the Confidential Case Manager for Students.
The University also provides reasonable, individualized, and voluntary accommodations to pregnant and parenting students, in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. . Accommodations are determined based on the student’s specific needs. REPORTING TO THE UNIVERSITY:
Texas Education Code, Section 51.252, requires all University employees, when in the course and scope of their employment, who witness or receive information regarding the occurrence of an incident that an employee reasonably believes constitutes sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating violence, or stalking, and that is alleged to have been committed by or against a student or employee, to promptly report the incident to the Title IX Coordinator or a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
