The Office of the Registrar is pleased to announce the availability of official PDF transcripts. With this enhancement, current students, alumni, and former students (that attended after Fall 1979) will experience faster turnaround when ordering PDF transcripts from the University of Texas at Austin. Effective October 3, 2016, all official PDF transcript requests will be made online and improvements to the ordering process include:
- Availability of electronic (PDF) transcripts that contain the same information as the printed transcripts and can be certified as unaltered.
- Faster turnaround time, often resulting in the availability of PDF transcripts within the same business day.
- Order status updates available online at Check Transcript Order Status, enabling users to know the status of their request from the initial order through fulfillment.
The PDF transcript is a comprehensive record of your academic progress, including transfer courses, credit earned by exam, and earned degrees intended to be sent to businesses and governmental agencies for employment purposes.
