Reserved
- Enrollment in reserved classes is limited to certain student populations.
- Information regarding the reservation(s) may be found in the class detail of the course schedule, the department headnote, and/or by contacting the department offering the class.
- Students must meet requirements and, if noted, obtain applicable permission(s) before registering for a reserved class.
Waitlisted
- A waitlist is a list that students can join and wait for open seats in a class.
- If it is turned on by the department, and all the seats in a class have been filled, students can join the waitlist.
- If a student in the class drops it, a seat opens up and is filled by a student on the list.

Some classes are reserved to certain majors/degree programs. If you have a question about the reservation, contact the department offering the course.
Open
The class has open seats available for students to enroll.
Open; Reserved
Seats are available and students can enroll; however, specific reservations apply to the class.
Closed
All seats are taken in the class, and students may no longer enroll.
Canceled
The class will no longer be offered for the current semester.
