Announcements
Our next meeting will be a special presentation on the title inventory by Registrar technical staff. The presentation is scheduled for Monday, August 10th, from 10:30 – 11:30 in MAI 26.
Notes/Action Items
Certified audits: Certified staggered audits for the first summer session will begin on July 10th and conclude on July 17th. Certified staggered audits for the second summer session will begin on August 14th and conclude on August 21st. The output preference table has been updated with your changes; please notify Registrar staff if you do not receive output as you expect.
Newly added courses and unnumbered topics for fall 2015: Vasanth Srinivasa provided a flowchart for course list updates. When a new course is added to the course inventory, its degree plan statements and comments will necessitate that we build relations for duplicate and replacement courses. New unnumbered topic titles and title variations on standalone courses may also appear on the course schedule. In these cases, it is advised that you review your course lists and make changes as needed. You can view the flowchart at this link: /docs/ida/degree-audit-dup-repl-relations.pdf
Registrar staff can provide reports to the colleges regarding new courses added to the course inventory and new unnumbered topics added to the course schedule. Two reports available right now are 1) a list of course relations built from the CRIN report for 159; and 2) a list of all newly added unnumbered topics and their groupings within the topic title inventory. Please inform Registrar staff if you would like access to the title inventory.
A third report will consist of newly added courses to the course inventory for 159. We expect this report to be ready in a few weeks.
