Online Grade Changes
The Online Grade Change system replaces several transactions of the existing “505” yellow grade change forms.
What does the system do?
The following transactions can now be performed electronically:
- Change a grade to another grade
- Extend the time for an incomplete
- Replace a grade with an incomplete
- Replace an incomplete with a grade
The paper process of grade changing will be discontinued at the end of the Fall 2011 semester. All retroactive adds/drops and grading status changes will still be processed using the existing “505” forms for the time being.
Who can use the system?
- Any instructor of record
- Any person authorized by the department chair
- Any person authorized by the dean
- Any person authorized in the Registrar's Office
Who can initiate grade changes?
- Any instructor of record
- Any person authorized by the department chair
Who can approve or reject grade changes?
- Any person authorized by the dean
- Any person authorized in the Registrar's Office

- Submitting a grade change: Training video for instructors and individuals authorized by the Department Chair
- Reviewing grade changes: Training video for deans and individuals authorized by the Dean
