Student Academic Records
The student academic records section reviews the accuracy of student data upon a student’s matriculation and is responsible for maintaining all academic records. This maintenance includes ensuring that all changes to student records, such as name changes and grade changes, are done accurately and according to University policy. This area is also responsible for posting all final grades, including grades from study abroad, credit by exam, and University Extension. The archive includes all records from the first group of students in 1883 to current students.
The Office of the Registrar provides regular training sessions about the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) to faculty, staff, and students. The office supports a public Web site as well as the institution’s compliance module concerning this important topic.
