University catalogs

The catalog of the university is the document of authority for all students. Any academic unit may issue additional or more specific information that is consistent with approved policy. The information in the catalog supersedes that issued by any other unit if there is a conflict between the two. The university reserves the right to change the requirements given in the catalog at any time.

Course descriptions in university catalogs are correct at the time of publication. See the Course Schedule for more recent information about courses.

The university no longer offers printed catalogs to the public.

• Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012 contains degree requirements for all undergraduate majors, rules that affect undergraduates, descriptions of undergraduate courses, and a list of the faculty of each college. » Past issues include 08-10, 06-08, 04-06, 02-04, 00-02, 98-00, 96-98, and 94-96.
• Graduate Catalog, 2011-2013 contains degree requirements for all graduate programs, rules that affect graduate students, descriptions of graduate courses, and a list of Graduate Studies Committee members. » Past issues include 09-11, 07-09, 05-07, 03-05, 01-03, 99-01, 97-99, and 95-97.
• Law School Catalog, 2010-2012 contains requirements for law degrees, rules that affect law students, descriptions of law courses, and a list of faculty members in the School of Law. » Past issues include 08-10, 06-08, 04-06, 02-04, 00-02, 98-00, 96-98, and 94-96.
• General Information, 2011-12 contains general information about the university and rules that affect all students. General Information should be used along with one of the other catalogs, since each student must know the rules given there and those in the catalog for his or her degree program. » Past issues include 10-11, 09-10, 08-09, 07-08, 06-07, 05-06, 04-05, 03-04, 02-03, 01-02, 00-01, 99-00, 98-99, 97-98, 96-97, and 95-96.
