Checking prerequisites
A prerequisite is a course you need to have completed before registering for another. You need to be aware of any course prerequisites before you register, because our online registration system will try to enforce them when you do. Find out about prerequisites prior to registration using university catalogs, the course schedule, or our Prerequisite Check system.
What can I do in Prerequisite Check?
- Find classes with prerequisites, or check your record against the prereqs for a specific course.
Note: If you don’t meet prerequisites, you’ll be dropped from courses.
