Post 9/11 GI Bill educational benefits
Do I qualify?
If you're pursuing a degree, and were serving on 9/11 or after, you may qualify for the benefits of the new Post 9/11 GI Bill.
- You must be registered for classes and seeking a degree.
- If you served on active duty after 10 Sep 2001, you may qualify for Post 9/11 even if you've exhausted benefits under (or haven't contributed to) the Montgomery GI Bill or REAP.
- These new benefits may include a percentage of tuition and fees paid, a basic housing allowance, and a book stipend.
Let's talk. Give us 45 minutes to advise you on your benefits; we're at 512 475-7540, in the registrar's office in room 1 of the Tower.
