Questions about ordering catalogs

Why do you charge for catalogs? To recover part of the cost of printing them.

Are the catalogs online? Yes, on our catalogs page.

How do I order a catalog? Printed catalogs are sold in campus-area bookstores. They may also be purchased online, by phone, and by mail.

  • To purchase online using a credit card, visit our catalog store.
  • To order by phone, call the registrar's office at 512 475-7555 from 8a to 430p Mon through Fri, and charge your purchase to a credit card.
  • To order by mail, print and fill out our order form. Payment must be made by check or money order, in US funds drawn on a US bank. Make checks and money orders payable to the University of Texas at Austin. Mail the form and payment to The University of Texas at Austin, Office of the Registrar Catalogs, P O Box 7216, Austin TX 78713-7216.

What are the various kinds of mail? Our office offers three different kinds of mail.

  • Periodicals mail is an authorized mail service for publications whose purpose is to transmit information, and is sent at least once a week from our office. It will arrive about 10 to 20 days after your request.
  • Priority mail is first-class mail service that receives expedited delivery from the post office and is sent daily from our office. USPS offers two-day delivery to most domestic locations.
  • Global Priority mail is an accelerated airmail service that ships to over 50 countries and territories. If a country doesn't accept Global Priority, we send by Global Airmail at no additional cost. Global mail is sent the same day we receive a request and takes around 4 to 7 days to most locations worldwide.

Are there any refunds on catalog purchases? University policy does not permit refunds or exchanges on catalog purchases.

How do I get free information about the university? For undergraduate information, visit the admissions office online, call 512 475-7555, or write to the University of Texas at Austin Office of Admissions, P O Box 8058, Austin TX 78713-8058. For grad information, visit the graduate school online, call 512 475-7390, or write to the University of Texas at Austin Graduate and International Admissions Center, P O Box 7608, Austin TX 78713-7608.
